Evelyn R. Garofalo

Evelyn R. Garofalo, 94, of Exeter Township, passed away August 22, 2014 in the Berkshire Center. She also resided at Keystone Villa, Douglassville, for over a year.

Her husband, Harry F. Garofalo, died January 7, 1977.

Born November 10, 1919 in Astoria, NY, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Sharkey) Uhl.

She was a graduate of Bryant High School, Long Island City, NY.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Nancy M. Garofalo, Exeter Township.

She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret G. Brown.

Evelyn's daughter, Nancy, would like to thank the staff of Keystone Villa, Douglassville, for their kindness, care and support over the past year.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home., Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private in Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, NYC Chapter, 360 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10017.
