Evelyn D. Gass

Evelyn D. Gass, 83, formerly of Wernersville, died May 29, 2007 in Berks Heim, where she had been since June 12, 2002.

Her husband Burton J. Gass died April 26, 2002.

Born in Camden, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel Hemingway.

She was a candy packer for many years for Palmer Candies until her retirement.

Evelyn was a Reading High School graduate.

Survivors include her son, Steven B. husband of Cindy B. Gass, Sinking Spring and her daughter, Vicki L. (Gass) May, Saratoga Springs, NY. There is also one sister, Dorothy (Hemingway) Conrad, Wernersville. Three grandchildren, Heather Beidler, Staff Sgt. Derek Beidler and Peter Gass; and two great grandchildren, Brooke Beidler and Raven Beidler also survive her.
