Evelyn C. Kinkaid

Evelyn C. Kinkaid, 88, formerly of Pennwyn Place, Shillington, died Jan. 20 at 10:40 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where she had resided one year.

Her husband, Richard B. Kinkaid, died Sept. 23, 1985.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Kathryn (Moyer) Fisher.

Kinkaid was employed for 25 years as a seamstress by Morgan Industries, Reading, retiring in 1981.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Gibraltar.

Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn M. (Kinkaid) Gechter, Sinking Spring; and a son, Richard B. Jr., Birdsboro.

Other survivors include a sister, Hope (Fisher) Bixler, Wernersville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
