Evelyn L. Buzby

Evelyn L. (Crupi) Buzby,74, formerly of 1637 Dauphin Avenue, Wyomissing died June 1st at 3:00 a.m. in the Heritage Assisted Living Center, Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey, where she had been since February 27, 2001.

She was the widow of Robert E. Buzby who died July 28, 2000.

Born in Reading she was a daughter of the late Leon Sr., and Angeline (Jordan) Crupi.

She was a 1946 graduate of Reading High School.

Buzby worked for a number of years as a bookkeeper for the former Morgansterns Auto Dealership of Reading.

She later worked as a clerk at Crupi's Food Market until her retirement.

Buzby was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Whitfield.

She is survived by a daughter, Lee Anne (Weidner) Hogan of Blue Anchor, N.J. and two sons; Scott Weidner of New Haven, Conn. and Roy Weidner of Tallahassee, F.L.

Other survivors include a step-daughter, Sheri (Buzby) Wolfrum of Wyomissing and a step-son, Barry Buzby of Frederick, M.D.

She is also survived by three brothers, Leon Crupi of Colony Park, Donald Crupi of Wyomissing and Terry Crupi of Shillington.

There is eight grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Thursday 10:00 am in St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Whitfield. Rev. Karl L. Kern officiating. Visitation 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in St. John's (Hain's) Church Cemetery, Wernersville. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
