Evelyn M. (Zeller) Breitenstein, 79, of 1902 Old Lancaster Pike, (Cumru Township), Sinking Spring, Pa 19608, died March 27th at 12:55 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since March 19th.
She was the wife of Arthur E. Breitenstein, at home.
Born in Gouglersville, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Lillian M. (Eshelman) Zeller.
Breitenstein was a member of Wyomissing United Church Of Christ, Gouglersville.
She worked for 36 1/2 years as a band tacker / machine operator at Bollman Hat Factory, Adamstown before retiring in February 1987.
Breitenstein is also survived by a daughter, Sandra L. (Breitenstein) Ford of Brecknock Township.
Other survivor include three grandchildren, Dawn R. (Wurst) Godwin of Spring Township, Barry E. Wurst of Chandler, Arizona and Eric W. Wurst of Bernville.
There are also 3 great grandchildren, Samuel J. Wurst of Chandler, Arizona, Colleen M. Godwin and Danielle L. Godwin both of Spring Township.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 am in Wyomissing United Church of Christ, 2 Vermont Road, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. Rev. Elmer B. Reinhold and Rev. Rebecca E. Brenner officiating. Visitation Friday from 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville. Contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
