Evelyn Ruth Borrell

Evelyn Ruth Borrell, 87, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away January 28, 2013 in Berks Heim.

Her husband, David Kern Borrell, Sr., died August 24, 1998.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Luther John and Anna Mae (Bott) Noll.

Evelyn is survived by her three children: Deborah A., wife of Charles P. Gilbert, II, Muhlenberg Township; David Kern Borrell, Jr., East Cocalico Township and Patricia Ann Borrell, wife of Perry Griesemer, Robeson Township. Also surviving are her sisters: Virginia Dreher, Oley Township and Joan Gaul, Reading. Five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson also survive her.

She was predeceased by three siblings: Mary Phillips, Luther Noll and Miriam Bachman.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 12 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
