Eva Schweitzer

Eva Schweitzer, 86, of Spring Township, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at 9:45 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient since December 13th.

She was married February 13, 1943 to Harold E. Schweitzer, who died May 30, 2002.

Born January 27, 1920 in Gibraltar, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Anna (Swadkins) Wolf.

She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Temple.

Eva was a 1938 graduate of Wilson High School.

She was employed 20 years with Hollywood Cleaners, Wyomissing, retiring as an office manager in 1971.

Eva is survived by a son, Greg S. husband of Karen A. (Donohue) Schweitzer of Spring Township.

There is also a brother, Harry Wolf of Andrews, North Carolina and a sister, Dorothy (Wolf) Wiest of Spring Township.

Other survivors include two step grandchildren; Amy J. Grill of Quakertown and Eric J. Grill of New York City and three step great grandchildren; Brendon Grill of Roxbury, NY, Raiesa Miller of Harrisburg PA and Cameron Grill of Thomasville, PA.

Eva is also survived by a nephew, Lionel Caldwell of Lancaster and four nieces; Terry and Cassie Wolf of Andrews, NC, Casey and Maria Caldwell of Lancaster.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm in Epiphany Lutheran Church, 631 North Temple Blvd., Temple, PA 19560, with the Rev. Lynda L. Elmer officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gibraltar. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Walter R.
