Eva E. Christ

Eva Elizabeth Christ, 84, died March 10, 2012 in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the wife of Norman Richard Christ who died August 8, 1999.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Burns and Eva Elizabeth (Spatz) DeWalt.

Eva was employed with ShopRite in various different positions for over 30 years.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She is survived by her two daughters: Linda J., wife of Martin C. Friedrich of Temple and Kathy A., wife of Duncan T. MacRae of West Harrison, NY.

Other surivors include a sister-in-law, Ferne Helbert of Bern Township and a brother-in-law, Paul Christ of Laureldale.

In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Eva was predeceased by four siblings: Katherine Seitz, Mary Jane Hunsberger, William DeWalt and Augustus DeWalt.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
