Eugenia F. Keller

Eugenia Frances (Smith) Keller, 87, formerly of Reading, died August 23, 2010 in ManorCare Health Service Center, Spring Township.

Born September 2, 1922 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester S. and M. Helen (Michaelski) Smith.

Eugenia was a Den Mother for Holy Guardian Angels, Pack 161 and also the President of B'nai Brith Resident's Club.

Surviving are four children: Kenneth A. Keller of Ambler, Montgomery County; John A., husband of Gale Keller of Reading; Glen A Keller of Laureldale and Thomas A., husband of Maria Keller of Laureldale.

Other survivors include two brothers, Sylvester Smith and E. Richard Smith, both of California.

There are also three grandchildren and four great grandchildren surviving.

Eugenia was predeceased by four children: Leroy J. Keller, Evelyn C. Keller, Garth P. Keller and Deidre M. Keller and a sister, Arlene Medkiff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 1 p.m. in Holy Guardian Angel's R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
