Eugene Colonel Madenford, 80, died May 13, 2015, in his Dauphin County residence.
He was the widower of Shirley M. (Lutz) Madenford.
Born in Rehrersburg, he was a son of the late Charles K., Jr., and Lucille R. (Ehrnfield) Madenford.
He was a 1952 graduate of Womelsdorf High School.
Eugene was a 20 year veteran of the United States Marine Corp from 1953-1972 serving during both the Korean conflict and Vietnam War. He then worked for Conrail for 20 years from 1973-1995.
He was a proud member of various organizations: San Clemente Masonic Lodge #671; Scottish Rite- Valley of Reading; Rajah Temple; Bernville American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Sinking Spring Fire Company and Rehrersburg Fire Company.
Eugene enjoyed fishing; boating; and playing golf.
He is survived by two daughters: Anne K., wife of Timothy C. Wildman; and Beverly M., wife of Lawrence V. Nawa; three grandchildren: Nicholas W. Wildman; Kayti K. Wildman; and Averie E. Nawa; and his nephew Charles H. Madenford IV.
Eugene was predeceased by his brother, Charles H. Madenford Jr.
