Eugene Louis Hoyas

Eugene Louis Hoyas, 58 of Centre Township died July 10, 2018 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Nicole M. (Batson) Hoyas.    Eugene was born in Lodi, NJ and was the son of the late Eugene K. and Marie (Calabrese) Hoyas. Eugene was a 1977 graduate of Lodi High School and a 1981 graduate of Drew College with a double major in Zoology and Political Science.  He was the founder and writer for the following sites: Manly Rash and Bulldog Pundit along with a contributor to many other conservative news sites.   He was employed by Ashley Furniture, Leesport in the repair department. Eugene was a member of the HPBA, Warren, NJ. In addition to his wife, his children, Christopher Hoyas Watchung, NJ, Claudia D. Hoyas, Stirling, NJ, Ex-wife Ana Cristina Hoyas, Wyalusing, PA, Stepdaughter, Meghann A. Batson, Shoemakersville PA, step grandchildren, Avery and Madelyn all survive Eugene. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 94 Tindall Rd, Middletown NJ on July 28 at 11am.
