Eugene C. Baum

Eugene C. Baum, Sr., 84, of Brecknock Township, passed away on January 11th at the Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Nuremberg, he was the son of the late Charles and Minnie (Delziet) Baum.

His wife, Mary T. (McGowen) Baum, passed away on February 1, 2005.

He graduated from Black Creek Township High School, Rock Glen.

Eugene worked as a purchasing agent for Budd Company for 38 years until his retirement in 1987.

He was a member of St. Benedict's RC Church, Mohnton.

Eugene is survived by two sons, Eugene C., Jr. husband of Deborah Baum, Deptford, NJ, Michael J. husband of Lisa Baum, Oxford, MI and one daughter Juleann B. (Baum) wife of George Morris, Bowmansville.

He is also survived by one brother, Clair A. Baum of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

There are also two granddaughters, Juleann (Morris) wife of Erik Anderson, and Alyssa Baum.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedict's RCC, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, Pa 19540. Burial will be in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. till the time of service at the church.
