Etta E. Brown

Etta E. Brown, 84, of Tulpehocken Avenue, West Reading, died Aug. 19 at 2:50 a.m. at Manor Care, West Reading, where she resided since July 16.

Her husband, George D. Brown, died Oct. 22, 1993.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Mahlon and Bertha (Strauss) Greim.

Brown was employed as a topper for many years at Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, until her retirement.

She was a graduate of Wernersville High School.

Surviving are a son, George D. Jr., Wenonah, N.J.

Also surviving are a brother, Harry Greim, Bristol; and two sisters, Pearl (Greim) Brossman, Wernersville, and Marie (Greim) Garrett, Myerstown, Lebanon County.

Other survivors include a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Brown was predeceased by a son, Dennis L., in 1968.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Viewing 10:30am until time of service. Burial will be in Sinking Spring Cemetery.
