Ethel M. Fallon

Ethel M. (Wells) Fallon, 89, formerly of Fleetwood and Temple, died of natural causes April 28th at 2:12am in the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, where she had been since March 28th.

She was taken there from Mifflin Court, Cumru Township, where she had resided since March 2001.

Fallon was the widow of Howard E. Strause, who died in 1965.

Born in Mohrsville, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Lillian M. (Berg) Wells.

She was a former owner of Shar-let Knitting Mills, Fleetwood for 20 years, retiring in 1975.

Fallon is survived by a daughter, Sonia Fay (Strause) Folk of Bern Township and a son, Randall L. Strause of Kutztown.

Other survivors include five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
