Ethel G. Boulanger, 74, died Feb. 17 at 10:35 AM in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Feb. 13, 2004.
Boulanger of 518 Lake Ave., Wyomissing, PA, was the wife of Francis P. Boulanger.
Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Veronica (Bean) Plank.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Boulanger was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School. She was employed in Retail Sales for twenty-one years, last working at John Wanamaker's until her retirement in 1991. Prior to her work in sales, she was employed as a clerk for the American Casualty Company, Reading, from 1948-1957.
Additional survivors are two sons, Peter D. and Paul D., both of West Lawn.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mary F. (Boulanger) Miller, Spring Twp.; one brother, Edward Plank, Sinking Spring; and one sister, Pat (Plank) Rea, Birdsboro.
There are also six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Feb. 21. A viewing will be held from 8:00 to 9:30 AM prior to the Mass.Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home in West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
