Esther E. Rhine

Esther E. Rhine, 104, passed away March 29, 2017, in her Cumru Township residence.

She was the beloved wife of Raymond R. Rhine, who died November 4, 1990.

Born in Wernersville, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Emma (Baer) Gaul.

Esther was a 1931 graduate of Wernersville High School and of McCann's School of Business.

She was an avid reader, gardener and also loved cooking.

Esther is survived by her two children, Frederick H., widower of Nancy Rhine, Dover, N.H; and Susanne R., wife of D. Scott Miller, Cumru Township. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kimberly A. Rhine, Derek S. Miller, and Christopher Miller; and three great grandchildren, Audrey Miller, Ian Miller and Nathan Miller.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with burial to follow in St. John's Hain's Cemetery, Wernersville.
