Esther P. Tripi

Esther P. Tripi, 91, of Reading, PA, died February 14, 2011 in her residence.

Her husband, Joseph J. Tripi, Sr. passed away in 1990.

Born in McKee's Rocks, PA and raised in Cherry Creek, NY, she was a daughter of the late Lucian and Alexandra (Konieczna) Rowicki.

Esther was an R.N. at Gowanda State Hospital, Gowanda, NY, until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Millmont.

Esther was quiet and caring, yet strong and independent, and she was a devoted mother. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her three children: Joseph J. Tripi, Jr., Lyons, NY; Bonnie Moore, Sinking Spring, PA, and Robert (Mary) Tripi, Northville, MI. Also surviving is her sister, Frances (James) Sutter, Perrysburg, NY. There are two grandchildren: Christopher Tripi and Jason Moore, three great-grandchildren: Amelia, Jasmyn, and Tyler Moore, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three siblings: Adam Rowicki, John Rowicki, and Irene Harris.
