Esther M. Lafaver

Esther May LaFaver, 85 of Ontelaunee Township died October 7, 2008 in the Reading Hospital at 2:10 a.m.

She was married to the late Paul James LaFaver, Sr. who died in 1960.

Born July 8, 1923 in Ontelaunee Township, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Roth) Hinkle.

Esther was last employed by Annchester Inn as a domestic worker.

She is survived by two children, Paul James LaFaver, Jr. of Temple and Theresa Mae (LaFaver) Folk of Richmond Township.

In addition there are nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Esther was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann (LaFaver) Heffelfinger in 1999 and two brothers, James and Charles Hinkle.

Services will be Friday at 12 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Richmond Township.
