Esther Hilda Dietrich

Esther Hilda Dietrich, 92, died December 19, 2013, in her Columbia Cottage residence in Spring Township.

She was married June 13, 1942 to Charles W.K. Dietrich who died May 2, 2009.

Born in Kutztown, Pa on June 17, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Robert W. and Hilda E. (Long) Levan.

Esther was a 1939 graduate of Kutztown High School.

She was employed with Western Electric, Muhlenberg Township and later with the Hallmark Card Shop in the Berkshire Mall, Wyomissing for over 15 years, starting as a sales clerk and retiring as a manager.

Esther is survived by a son, Larry A., husband of Betsy L. (Mundell) Dietrich of Birdsboro and two granddaughters: Kelli J., wife of Chad M. Mauger of Blandon and Kristi L. Schnabel of Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include four great grandchildren: Haylie, Colton, Ryder and Aubrie.

She is also survived by two siblings: David P. Levan of Wyomissing and Ruth, widow of Donald Hohl, of Temple.

Esther was predeceased by three brothers: Cleon R., Harold C. and Willis V.

Services will be held Monday, December 23rd at 10:00 am in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 am until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
