Esther B. Green

Esther B. Green, 92, of James Street, Sinking Spring, died Oct. 1 at 10:34 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient three days.

Her husband, Bernard J. Green, died March 22, 1993.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anson and Agnes (Shafer) Bredbenner.

Green was employed for 15 years as manager by Rieger's Cards & Gifts, Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1972.

Surviving are a son, Bernard J. Jr., Wyomissing; three grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
