Esther M. Dissinger

Esther M. Dissinger, 74 of Perry Township died in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center on September 23rd. She was the widow of Floyd E. Dissinger, SR. who died September 26, 2005. Esther was born in Maidencreek Township and was the daughter of the late Earl and Mabel (Bergman) Fromm. She was a member of St. John's (Gernant's) United Church of Christ, Ontelaunee Township. Esther worked as a machine operator for many years in various knitting mills retiring in 1998. She is survived by 1 son: Floyd E., Jr. husband of Suzanne Dissinger, Tilden Township; 6 daughters: Cindy wife of Gerald Gerner, Tilden Township, Connie wife of Ralph Werley, Windsor Township, Wanda wife of Kenneth Heinly, Perry Township, Lori Dissinger, Shillington, Peggy Padinske and Cheryl wife of Bruce Engle, both of Shoemakersville. Esther is also survived by 2 sisters: Violet Zweizig, Perry Township and Lottie Speece, Reading, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
