Estelita Rios-Barada, 80, of Spring Township, went to join the Lord and her loving husband, Johnny on February 12, 2010. She passed away peacefully at ManorCare, Sinking Spring.
Her husband, Juan Rios-Barada died in 1989.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Isabel (Mercado) Delgado.
She was a member of St. Peter's R.C. Church, Reading.
Estelita was a past president and longtime active member of La Casa De La Amistad, Hispanic Senior Center, Reading.
She is survived by her two children: Carlos, husband of Minerva Camacho, NY and Sandra, wife of J. Albert Cobian, West Lawn. Five grandchildren, Carlos, Alexandra, A.J., Christopher and Aries; and one great-granddaughter, Madison also survive her.
A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will be in the adjoining Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
