Errol Keith Morrison

E. Keith Morrison, known to friends and family as "Shotgun," "Gun," and "Gunny," 62, of Reading, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 13, 2024. He was a beloved son of Rena A. (Chambers) Morrison of Temple and the late Clarence G. "Lucky" Morrison.

Keith graduated in 1979 from Reading High School where he was a top athlete on the school's wrestling team. His kind, fun personality made it easy for him to make friends. He loved to dance, a passion he shared with his family. Throughout his adult life, he worked as a truck driver.

He was studying for his Baptism through the Reading North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. His acceptance of faith brought his family much joy.

In addition to his mother, Rena, Keith's memory will be treasured by his family and friends. He is survived by his children: LaToya Morrison of North Carolina; Sabrina Morrison of Greenville, SC; and Magnum Morrison Sr. of Reading; his grandchildren: Shade Woodson, DéShawn Morrison, Chanell Morrison, Sebastian Holder, Darren Cain, Deven Cain, and Magnum A. Morrison Jr.; and two great granddaughters, Esme Cain and Ariana Morgan. He is also survived by his siblings: Herbert Lee "Herbie" Morrison of Reading; Myra "Mitzi" Morrison of Atlantic City, NJ; Eric M. "Rick" Morrison, husband of Justine, of Oley; Byron Neal "Duke" Morrison, husband of Maribel, of Shillington; Clarice "Duchess" Morrison of Reading, Regina "Reggie" Morrison of Reading, and JoAnn "JoJo" Morrison of Reading; his aunt, Shirley E. Chambers of Temple; and his cousin, Pastor Ernestine Harper Boles of Reading.

Keith was predeceased by his father, Clarence; his sister, Priscilla Louise Hightower, whose husband Alex has also passed; his cousin, Ernest E. Harper; and his grandparents, Sally Cooper and Herbert L. Morrison and Leola (Smith) Chambers and Irvin Chambers.

Services for Keith will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Reading North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 509 Madison Ave #2411, Reading, PA 19605. A zoom meeting of the service will be accessible: ID 81101684456
