Erna Christman

Erna (Rohrbach) Christman, 92, of Elmcroft Assisted Living, Exeter Twp., formerly of Oley, passed away December 25, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Christman, who passed away on September 26, 2000.

Erna was born in Gilbertsville on September 9, 1921 to Joseph & Annie Rohrbach.

She was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed baking, gardening and bingo. She loved her family and her cats.

Erna was a member of Friedens U.C.C. since 1945.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friedens U.C.C. Memorial Fund, 337 Main St. Oley, PA 19547.
