Erma E. Betz

Erma E. Betz, 93, of Warren Street, died Jan. 30 at 4:15 a.m. in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been a resident since April.

She was the wife of Samuel B. Betz.

Born in Myerstown, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Josiah and Minnie (Christ) Hollenbach.

Betz had been employed as a stenographer by Reading Full Fashion Hosiery Co., last working in 1938.

She was a member of St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, Lower Heidelberg Township.

Betz was a graduate of Stoner's Business School, Reading.

She is also survived by a daughter, Bonnilyn M. (Betz) Harter, Temple, and two grandsons.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in St. John's (Hain's) Church Cemetery, Lower Heidelberg Township.
