Erleen M. Power

Erleen Power, 88, of Reading passed away, 2013 in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, Wyomissing. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Matz.

Erleen was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was married in 1948, until her husband's death on 10/27/92, after 44 years of marriage. Her husband, Dr. Frank Power, was a veterinarian in Reading.

In Erleen's younger years, she was involved in many local associations and activities in the Reading area. She enjoyed riding horses and being around their racehorses with her husband.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Michael Power and wife Sandy, Aiken, SC and those that knew and loved her. She will also be greatly missed by her close and loving friend, David Granger, who was her constant friend and companion. Also, surviving is her brother, Jack Matz, Hobe, FL.
