Erin R. Overley

Erin R. Overley, 45, passed away July 27, 2017, in her Reading residence.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Timothy L. and Melanie L. (Hiester) Overley, Mohnton.

Erin was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in 1989 and attended Kutztown University.

Erin was an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboys fan, loved John Hughes' movies and Marilyn Monroe, enjoyed the Ken-Grill Pool and longed for the beach. A life-long animal lover, Erin volunteered at the Animal Rescue League. But most of all, she loved being herself.

She worked for Sovereign Bank for 13 years in various leadership roles; later she worked for Vision Resource Center as the activities coordinator; and most recently for ADDAPT as a group home administrative assistant.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers: Shawn P., husband of Kristen V. Overley, Cumru Twp. and Timothy S., husband of Jennifer G. Overley, Shillington. She was affectionately known as "EE" to 4 nephews that were near and dear to her heart: Dylan P, Cameron T., Jaxon F., and Rylan T. Overley. Erin is also survived by some very special friends who were always there for her.

She was predeceased by her adored animals, Bleu Belle and Cowboy.
