Erick S. Lichty

Erick S. Lichty, 40, passed away July 26, 2018 in his Muhlenberg Township residence.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of Leonard U., and Victoria A. (Socoloskie) Lichty, Blandon.

Erick was a 1996 graduate of Wilson High School, where enjoyed playing water polo and a graduate of Berks Technical Institute, where he received his Associates in Computer Aid Drafting.

He enjoyed playing chess, video games, art, and writing. He was a very intellectual individual and enjoyed watching the Simpsons and analyzing the underlying meaning in each episode.

In addition to his parents, his is survived by his two sisters, Laura S., wife of Jacob Tanis; and Alexis S., companion of Susan J. Shotwell. Two nieces, Lauren E. Tanis and Kathryn R. Tanis; and one nephew, Connor J. Shotwell also survive him.

Erick was predeceased by many friends and family members he loved.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
