Eric Nelson Diaz

Eric N. Diaz, 57, of Reading, passed away August 17, 2021, at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Sarah Ocasio, with whom he resided and the late Segundo Diaz.

Eric was formerly employed by Wyomissing Gardens Apartments in the maintenance department.

Eric was a kind and compassionate person. He was always willing to help his family, friends and neighbors with anything that needed to be done around the house or in the yard.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three siblings: Edgar Sullivan, Allentown, Segundo, husband of Eiko Diaz, Okinawa, Japan and Saralina, wife of Angel Soto, Birdsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, August 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Monday, August 23, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
