Erhard A. Zwingert

Erhard A. Zwingert, 90, of Country Meadows in Wyomissing died October 8, 2014.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Rosina (Zenz) Zwingert.

Born in Mainz, Germany he was the son of the late Anton Wilheim and Anna (Wachter) Zwingert.

Erhard retired from Crompton & Knowles as a textile chemist.

He was a long time member of the Reading Liederkranz and the Pretzel City Chorus.

Erhard is survived by two children, Erich A. Zwingert , husband of Kathy, Hendersonville,N.C. and Helga (Zwingert) Bensing , wife of Andrew of Reading, PA. Five grandchildren: Jonathan Bensing, Danyelle Bensing, Gerik Bensing, Peter Zwingert and Kaitlin (Zwingert) Powali also survive him.

Services will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection, at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd.,Laureldale, PA 19605, with burial to follow.
