Emmalou Angstadt

Emmalou Angstadt, 57, of Muhlenberg Township, died November 19, 2009 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

Born March 1, 1952 in Reading she was a daughter of the late Harvey E. and Ruth E. (Eyrich) Angstadt.

Emmalou was employed in the workshop with Prospectus/Berco for 35 years.

She was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale.

Emmalou loved to bowl and going to work.

Surviving are seven siblings: Harry E., husband of Frances A. (Haisch) of Wytheville, VA; Elaine D. (Angstadt), widow of Gerald D. Evans of Muhlenberg Township; Susan M. (Angstadt), wife of Joseph R. Brommer of Muhlenberg Township; Judith A. (Angstadt), wife of Merrill G. Moyer of Fleetwood; Paul A., husband of Carol A. (May) Angstadt of Muhlenberg Township; Mary A. (Angstadt), widow of Harold E. Sallada of Reading and Diane L. (Angstadt) Choiniere of Laureldale.

In addition, there are also 28 nieces and nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nieces.

Emmalou was predeceased by two siblings, W. David Angstadt who died September, 1969 and James A. Angstadt who died March, 2005.

Services will be Monday at 12 noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
