Emma Mae Levan, 83, of Robesonia, died March 28, 2015 in St. Joseph Hospital.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Sallie E. (Schaeffer) Levan.
Her husband, Clifford E. Levan, died August 3, 1995.
Emma was a graduate of Mount Penn High School.
She was employed by C.E. Levan and Son Excavating, working as a secretary before retiring in 1996.
Emma was an avid bowler. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Spending time with her family was top priority in her life.
Emma is survived by her son, Terence A., husband of Marcy Levan, Wernersville; her grandchildren, LeeAarron Levan, Robesonia, and Tabitha Reed, Reading; and one great-grandson, Matthew.
Other survivors include her aunt, Dorothy Rimby, her niece, Bonnie Levan, and her most trusted friend and confidant, Bob Reio.
She was predeceased by three brothers; Richard Miller, Theodore Levan Jr., and Leonard Levan.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, April 1, 2015, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
