Emma Jones

Emma Jo Jones, 29, passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2025, leaving behind a world forever changed by her bright spirit and the joy she brought to those around her. Emma was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Born to Rebecca Jones and the late Dennis Jones, she was one of three- a proud triplet alongside Ella and Evan Jones, and the cherished younger sister of Molly Hawthorne.

Emma graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 2014, where she excelled both academically and as a dedicated lacrosse player. Her passion for the sport carried her into Lebanon Valley College, where she earned her degree in Biology in 2018. During her time as a student-athlete, she received several honors, including MVP (2017-2018) and Outstanding Female Athlete of 2018. Lacrosse was more than a game to Emma; it was a community, a source of pride, and a place where her determination and loyalty shined.

In her professional life, Emma shared her talents in several roles. She worked as a lab technician in Berks County and later as a lab scientist in West Virginia, where she was living at the time of her passing. Many also remember Emma from Zia Maria's Restaurant in Adamstown, where she and her sister Molly made an unforgettable team, known for filling every shift with energy and laughter.

Emma's personality was bold, genuine, and unforgettable. She had a rare ability to make people feel seen and valued, and she never hesitated to show up for others. Her sense of humor was unmatched, her generosity effortless, and her heart open to anyone who needed it. While the world feels dimmer without her, we take comfort in knowing she is carrying that same vibrant spirit forward, bringing laughter and light to heaven.

Emma is survived by her mother, Rebecca and her significant other Eric; her siblings: Molly, Ella, and Evan; her cherished nieces, who adored their Auntie Em; her Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Bart, who sparked her love for fishing; and her "second father" Seth Remp, who proudly taught her how to drive and supported her throughout her life.

Emma, you were taken far too soon, but your warmth, humor, and love will continue to ripple through every story we tell and every life you touched. You are gone, but you are everywhere.
