Emma B. Yoh

Emma B. Yoh, 93, formerly of Robesonia and Reading, died July 6, 2013, in ManorCare, Sinking Spring.

Her husband, Lester C. Yoh, died in 2004.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond B., Sr. and Marguerite (Bare) Shenk.

Emma was a graduate of Reading High School, Albright College and Temple University.

She was employed as a teacher with Robesonia High School, Strausstown Elementary School and Exeter Elementary School. She retired from Alvernia University in her 80s, where she taught early childhood education.

Emma was very dedicated to her work and teaching.

She was a member of Memorial Church of the Holy Cross United Methodist.

Emma was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret A., wife of J. Raymond Steininger, Reading. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.

Emma was predeceased by her siblings, Betty Reinhart and Raymond B. Shenk, Jr.
