Emma M. Allison

Emma M. (Parolini) Allison, 84, formerly of Camp Hill, died May 19, 2009 in her Spring Township residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Gordon E. Allison, they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary the day she passed away.

Born in Fern Glen, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis D. and Edith J. (Ziller) Parolini.

She was a former member of Good Shepherd Parish, Camp Hill and a current member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield

Emma was a devoted wife and mother. She loved volunteering with the Camp Hill Nursing Home patients. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a member of several dancing clubs including the VIP, Smoothies and Starlight.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Thomas J., at home, her daughter, Sara Ann Allison, Harrisburg; her sister, Inez R. Ceci, Shillington and two nieces, Louise A. Stickler and Regina M. Bierbower.

Emma was predeceased by her brother, Gene L. Parolini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg, at 1:45 p.m. Friends may call Friday 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the church.
