Emily W. Wagner

Emily W. (Wiest) Wagner, 86, of Wyomissing, died February 3, 2011 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Her husband, Frederick L. Wagner, died February 18, 1997.

Born in Oley, she was the daughter of the late Samual and Amy (Yerger) Wiest.

She was a 1942 graduate of Boyertown High School.

Emily was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Christians Women Club and PA German Dialict Kulture Society. Emily was past president of the AT&T Retiree Club and past vice-president of the WE Laurel Camera Club.

Emily is survived by her daughter, Theresa Lee Wagner, Monterey, CA; two granddaughters, Heather, wife of Tom Goettl, Racine, WI and Kristel, wife of Javier Del Toro, Tehachapi, CA and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter, LaRita S. Cox

Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in West Lawn United Methodist Church, 15 Woodside Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be in Bellemans Church Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to Central Park United Methodist Soup Kitchen, 138 South 6th St., Reading, PA 19602. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home.
