Emily G. Maurer

Emily G. (Kerchner) Maurer, 92 of Shoemakersville died March 8, 2017 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Bern Township. She was the widow of Robert A. Maurer who died March 2, 2013. Emily was born in Windsor Castle and was the daughter of the late Clayton L. and Gertrude (Reppert) Kerchner. She was a 1942 graduate of Perry High School. Emily worked 30 years at A.T. & T. as a lay out operator. She was a member of St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville and a former member of Shoemakersville Senior Citizens.   A son; Garry L. Maurer, Perry Township, granddaughter; Megan E. Maurer, Mohrsville and a great-grandson, Sebastian Verdejo, survive Emily. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4 th Street, Hamburg.
