Emily Dry Rohrbach

Emily Dry Rohrbach, 94, formerly of Laureldale, died April 15, 2009 at 9:40 p.m. in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Horace D. Rohrbach, who died August 21, 1984.

Born January 13, 1915 in Oley, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Deborah (DeTurck) Dry.

Emily was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Surviving are three children; Joanne, widow of George Wilkins of Temple; Karen, wife of Craig Hartranft; and Allen S., husband of Diane Rohrbach, both of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition, there is a sister-in-law surviving, Naomi, wife of Thomas Hinnershitz of Stony Creek Mills.

Emily was predeceased by two sisters, Esther Van Lear and Alice Schaeffer.

Services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
