Emily I. Brunner

Emily I. Brunner, 72, of Laureldale, died October 14, 2006 in Reading Hospital.

Her husband John P. Brunner, Jr. died January 8, 2004.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Florence (Kanaur) Esterly.

She was a sewing machine operator employed by numerous textile companies in Berks County for many years.

Survivors include one son, Dennis C. Brunner, Reading and one daughter, Jacqueline (Brunner) Althouse, Reading. There are also four brothers, Marvin Esterly, Cumru Twp., Daniel Esterly, Muhlenberg Twp., Frank Esterly, Alabama and Robert Esterly, Florida and three sisters Charlotte (Esterly) Schwartz, Lower Alsace Twp., June (Esterly) Hilbert, Lititz and Betty (Esterly) Bradfield, Florida. Three grandchildren, James Althouse, Shannon Brunner and Emily Althouse also survive her.
