Emidio Ditizio

Emidio Ditizio, Jr., 62, of Reading, passed away February 24, 2009, in the Reading Hospital.

His wife, Joan M. Ditizio, died April 3, 2000.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Emidio, Sr., and Mary (Cherico) Ditizio.

He was employed in the maintenance department of the Dana Corporation, retiring in 1999.

Emidio was a member of The Torch, Morgantown.

He is survived by his son, Michael D., husband of Stacey, Mohnton; his companion, Sandra L. Putt, with whom he resided; his brother, John Ditizio, Muhlenberg; and his sister, Christine Miller, Reading. Two grandchildren, Damion and Dominick, also survive him.

Services will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call 2-3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
