Emelyn Nestler

Emelyn Nestler, 57, of Reading, passed away January 13, 2019, in the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Sheldon F. Nestler, Reading.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Juana (Fuentes) Morales, Reading, and the late Francisco Morales.

Emelyn was graduate of St. Peter's Elementary School, Reading, and Holy Name High School, Wyomissing. She also graduated from Reading Area Community College, where she received her Associates in Early Childhood Development and Alvernia University, where she received her B.S. in Elementary Education, Cum Laude.

She was devoted catholic and member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church,Reading, where she was also employed as the 6th grade teacher.

Emelyn enjoyed singing, dancing, laughing, reading and faithfully praying her rosary. She was devoted mother not only to her children but to the all students that entered her classroom. She had no limit to her generosity and her kind heart will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two sons, Sheldon B. Nestler, Reading; and Kane M. Nestler, Reiffton. She is also survived by her eight siblings, Gladys, Mercedes, Eva Maria, Francisca, Juanita, Yolanda, Sonia and Ireberto; two grandchildren, Nevaeh Yvonne and Matthew Jacob; brother-in-law, Christopher Nestler; nephew, Conner Nestler; and father-in-law, Barry F. Nestler.

Emelyn was predeceased by sister, Elsie; and sister-in-law, Kimmarie, and mother-in-law, Janet F. Nestler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, January 18, 2019, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's R. C. Church, 322 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602, with burial to follow at Laureldale Cemetery. Viewing will be held Thursday, January 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Emelyn can be made to St. Peter's Elementary School, at the above address. Edward J.
