Elynor V. Wagner Elynor V. Wagner, 84, Reading, died Nov. 9 at 9:20 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient three days.

She was the wife of Charles T. Wagner, former pitcher, administrator and scout for the Boston Red Sox.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Florence (Bohannon) Becker.

Wagner was employed as a secretary by American Bank and was last employed as a secretary by TWA at Reading Regional Airport, retiring in 1945.

She was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School and a 1939 graduate of the Helen Moore Hoffman Secretarial School, Reading.

Wagner was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading.

She was a celebrated local watercolor artist and completed works for the Reading Hospital, Reading Area Community College, Berks County Arts Council and the Wyomissing School of Fine Arts.

Wagner is also survived by a son, Craig P., Reading.

She was predeceased by a son, Christopher C. Wagner, in 1948.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Nativity Lutheran Church. Burial will be private in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 PM in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Contributions may be made to Nativity Lutheran Church 1501 North 13th Street Reading, PA 19604 or the Jimmy Fund c/o Elynor V.
