Services for Elwood Eugene Graver, 71, Laureldale, will be private.

Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.

Graver was found dead Aug. 23 in the garage of his residence, police said. The cause of death is under investigation.

His wife, Ellen (Clayton) Graver, died in November 1995.

Born in Dauphin, Dauphin County, he was a son of the late Chester T. Graver and Grace E. (Soder) Graver Machemer.

Graver was employed for 20 years in the sand mill by The Glidden Co., Reading, until his retirement.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Graver was a life member of the Adamstown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8795.

He was a driver for the meals on wheels program at the Muhlenberg Senior Center.

Surviving are a son, Martin I., at home; and a daughter, Linda L. (Graver) wife of Thomas S. Hoover, Reading.

Other survivors include a brother, Dennis, in Washington state; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
