Elsie Weber

Elsie Weber, 98, formerly of Wyomissing passed away June 23, 2016 in the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Jacob L. Weber, who died January 11, 2001.

Born in Spring Township, she was the daughter of the late Franklin K. and Sarah C. (Trostle) Sweitzer.

Elsie was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mills as a seamer for over ten years and the Quality Control Department for Vanity Fair for five years.

She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Elsie is survived by her niece, Loretta A., wife of Terry P. Price, Shillington; daughter-in-law, Teresa Weber, California, and nephew Wilbert Gaul.

She was predeceased by her son, Lawrence R. Weber and siblings, Oscar Sweitzer, Lillie M. Gaul and Fern Sweitzer.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
