Elsie V. Vanino

Elsie V. (Perrotto) Vanino, 87, formerly of Kenhorst, died March 12, 2013, in Berkshire Center.

Her husband, Lewis Vanino, died October 22, 1987.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James and Virginia E. (Nye) Perrotto.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Elsie was employed as a seamstress for Berkshire Knitting Mills. She also worked for Christ's Grocery Store, West Reading and then later as a dental assistant for Dr. James Ruth, West Reading.

She was a member of St Anthony's of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Millmont.

Elsie loved to sew. She was a great West Reading sports enthusiast.

She was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

Elsie is survived by two children, Shirley A., wife of Barry L. Bohn, Wyomissing and Lee L., husband of Nancy (Madeira) Vanino, West Lawn; four grandchildren, Dana Vanino, Lynsey Underwood, Jason Vanino and Kelly Bohn and one great-granddaughter, Lilly Underwood.

She was predeceased by her brother, James Perrotto and her sister Joyce Seitzinger.

Services will be Saturday at noon in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Saturday from 11 to noon in the funeral home.
