Elsie Mae Williams

Elsie Mae (Breidenstein) Williams, 87, of Ontelaunee Township, died April 4, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Eugene David Williams whom she married June 28, 1947.

Born September 12, 1925 in Richmond Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles Edmund and Anna Moyer (Kline) Breidenstein.

Elsie graduated in 1983 Wilson High School at the age of 57.

She was employed as a sewing maching operator with various factories.

Elsie was a member of Maidencreek Church, Maidencreek Township.

She was also a member of Blandon Lioness Club.

Elsie enjoyed sewing in her younger years.

Also surviving are her two children: Ruth Ann Wentzel of Temple and Carol Sullivan of Cumru Township.

There are also four grandchildren surviving: David C. (L. DeAnne) Wentzel, Karen M. (Troy M.) Hess, Bradley R. Williams and Amber L. (Joseph M.) Columbo and three great grandchildren: Devin C. Wentzel, Logan M. Hess and Natalie J. Hess.

Other survivors include her brother, Charles Breidenstein of Ephrata and her sister, Fern Ballow of Salt Lake City, UT.

Elsie was predeceased by a son, Robert Williams, who died in 2008 and a brother, Carl Breidenstein who died in 1964.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 18th at 11 a.m. in Maidencreek Church, 261 Main Street, Blandon, PA 19510. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Oley.
