Elsie S. Fugo

Elsie Sarah (Denick) Fugo, 90, of Wyomissing, died of natural causes May 5th at 4:40 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been since April 28th.

She was the widow of Alfred John Fugo, who died May 6, 2003.

Born in East Whiteland, Chester County, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Giovinna (Muzio) DiNichola.

She was a 1934 graduate of Bridgeport High School, Montgomery County.

Fugo was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She was the owner of Fugo's, Bridgeport for over 30 years.

Fugo later was the owner for three years of the Bella Vista Tavern, Harleysville until 1975.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine M. wife of Joseph A. Rado of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include three sons, John A. husband of Dorothy M. (Worrall) Fugo of East Norton, Montgomery County, Richard J. husband of Marie A. (Billetta) Fugo of Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County and Robert J. Fugo of Wyomissing.

There are also eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Viewing will be Tuesday 9:00am until time of Mass in the Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 501 Washington Street, Suite 801, Reading, Pa 19601. Edward J.
