Ellen M. Mccomsey

Ellen Mae McComsey, 77, formerly of North Heidelberg Township, died January 26, 2008 at 1:10 pm in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was taken there from ManorCare Health Services, Inc., Spring Township, where she had been a patient for the last 1 1/2 years.

She was the wife of Charles Franklin McComsey, whom she married March 24, 1956.

Born in Valley View, Schuylkill County on November 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Arthur LeRoy and Gertrude Violet (Bowman) Boyer.

She was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School and a 1955 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Ellen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia.

She is also survived by two children; Kristin D. wife of Robert A. Stoltzfus of North Heidelberg Township and Drew C. husband of Kelly A. (Schaub) McComsey of Bethel Township.

Other survivors include two siblings; Dean A. husband of Cleo S. (Jones) Boyer of Leesport and Lillian wife of Nicholas Lopata of Boyertown.

There are also eight grandchildren; Alyssa Feeg, Zachary Connors, Mitchell Feeg, Chelsea McComsey, Ryan Connors, Devin McComsey, Abigail Stoltzfus and Leah Stoltzfus.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Trinity Lutheran Church, 108 S. Robesonia Avenue, Robesonia, with the Rev. William H. Weiser officiating. A viewing will be held in the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. Edward J.
