Ellen Louise Chase

Ellen Louise Chase, 80, passed away on February 3, 2023, at Complete Care at Berkshire.

Born in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford T. and Ellen L. (McConnell) Chase. Ellen attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated from the American Institute of Banking. Ellen was employed by Bay Bank in MA for twenty-one years leaving as a vice president. She was president of the American Institute of Banking in the New England area. Ellen was later employed as an accountant for Boscov's Department Stores.

Survivors include her brother Theodore Chase; three nephews, six great nieces and one great nephew.

Ellen was predeceased by her brother Robert B. Chase.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc, West Reading. Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
