Ellen Jeanne Weller, 82, passed away on October 9, 2026, at Penn State St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was the wife of the late William Edgar Weller. They shared 55 wonderful years together.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Hedge (Biddulph). Ellen graduated from Union High School in Union, NJ. Ellen dedicated over 20 years of service to the Owen J. Roberts School District as a school bus driver. She made a lasting impression on the many students over the years, and even today, she is fondly remembered by former students whose lives she touched along the way.
Ellen was a member of Salem Bethel United Methodist Church in Hamburg and Bethel United Methodist Church in Spring City, where she generously shared her time and talents through countless hours of volunteering. She especially loved helping make the sanctuaries beautiful during the Christmas season, creating a warm and welcoming place for all.
Ellen treasured family vacations to Disney World and carried a lifelong love of horses and the outdoors. She spent countless hours along the shore collecting Cape May Diamonds, a pastime that brought her great joy. Ellen and William enjoyed many seasons of camping together, first at Shellbay Campground in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, and later at Appalachian Campground in Shartlesville, Pennsylvania.
Above all, Ellen cherished her family. She had a special way of making those she loved feel valued and cared for, and her love shone through in all that she did. Her family was her greatest treasure, and the love she gave them will remain in their hearts forever.
Additionally, she proudly supported William at the racetrack as his biggest supporter and a member of his "pit crew."
Left to treasure her memory are her children, Wendy Munsey (Joseph), Sherri Giacobello (Joseph) and her grandchildren, Andrew Gerber (Sabra Wheeler), Alexander Gerber, Westin Moore (Jaiden Harwell), step-grandchildren, Lindsey Giacobello, Allison Munsey, Brenda Munsey, and great-grandchild, Feciliana.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Salem Bethel United Methodist Church, 292 Salem Church Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. To honor her memory, friends and family are encouraged to wear Disney or horse-themed attire.
